PLAN: Only 8 Boards!

Hi Manoj,

Welcome to the third installment of Sawdust to S'mores, a curated collection of project plans designed to transform your outdoor areas into the perfect summer oasis.

So far we looked at this project for kiddos, and this plan you could use for storage, as a cooler, or even to hide an eyesore.

This time, I'm excited to share a woodworking plan that has received dozens of requests from readers.

It's another project you can use at your Memorial Day get-together and throughout the summer.

This no-charge plan was inspired by a DIY project I fell in love with on a road trip.

I had a tape measure in my car, so I immediately began taking measurements, notes, and photos so I could share this idea with you.

This project hits all the marks:

  • It's small
  • Simple
  • Sturdy
  • And best of all, you can build it with only 8 boards!
