NEW: Workshop Holder!

Hi Manoj,

This week's brand-new workshop plan tackles a common storage challenge for a tool that can be tricky to store neatly in a toolbox or on a shelf.

The solution is this easy-to-build holder that keeps it organized with a storage area for extra blades.

You can customize this project to fit your needs. I made mine so it's reconfigurable, but you could:

  • Mount it inside a cabinet for space-saving organization
  • Display it conveniently on your workbench for easy access

Ready to dive in? I'll show you how to build this space-saving wonder in just a few simple steps.

Not the Brightest Bulb

I mentioned that I rescued a senior Shih Tzu named Gary a few months ago. I've been overwhelmed by all of the interest in him, so I wanted to share an update. Gary is paw-deep into basic obedience training – he's in his third week.

Last week, the trainer said, "There's probably going to be a few things Gary just won't "get." Then she said, "Sometimes it's good not having a smart dog. The smart ones tend to get into trouble."

I know Gary marches to the beat of his own drum, but I'm pretty sure the trainer thinks his bulb is a little dim, lol

That's okay with me. We're having a blast together 🥰

Of course, it's never entirely successful, but honestly, there's something magical when Costco brazenly sets up ceramic nativity sets alongside plastic witches' cauldrons in September. At this very moment, it's an overcast, blustery afternoon, prompting Cobra's first seasonal race to his " Inclement Weather Platform." It's a particular platform he retreats to when the weather is even the slightest bit disagre

Thank you all for your feedback on last month's massive Holiday Extravaganza issue. I really enjoyed all of your responses (read some of them later in this issue) to my nostalgic recollection of my year spent working at a movie theater. I think we're all recovering from the holidays, so I'll keep this issue a little shorter! In last year's January issue, I talked about setting resolutions for the new year. Allow me to follow up. I wrote: Setting a resolution is an opportunity to assess our general intentions for self improvement and share those feelings with others. The act of simp
